Oxygen SaunaAn oxygen sauna is a form of steam sauna that uses ozygen or ozone to remove toxins from your body. Once the steam from the sauna opens up the pores of your skin, oxygen seeps into your skin and oxidizes the toxins. The ozone also tends to kill viruses and bacteria on the skin. An oxgen system that consists of either an oxygen generator or tank with ozone generator can be integrated into exising or new saunas pretty easily as the unit doesn't take up much space. There is also a single-person integrated oxygen-ozone sauna unit that consists of an oxygen unit, ozone generator and sauna steam unit that a user opens the lid on and steps into. Oxygen sauna users claim that it also improves mental acuity, increase energy levels, and stimulates the metabolism. |
