The Portable SaunaPortable saunas are ideal for areas with limited space, such as a master bedroom or bathroom. This type of sauna can easily be folded up, collapsed and carried to another location. They come prewired and can be plugged into a standard outlet. All portable saunas are of the infrared-type that require no heaters or rocks. The portable sauna is designed for a single-person use. Sometimes called a sauna tent, the portable sauna is made of soft cloth or plastic that can be folded up and put away when not in use. Most come with a chair for you to sit in, but some models allow you to lie down inside the sauna instead. You simply step inside and then zip it up around you, leaving only your head sticking out. The more luxurious portable saunas are modular units made of wood and on caster wheels that you stand up in. These are sometimes called modular saunas or pre-built sauans. They can be rolled or carried to another location as needed. |
