Sauna Steam GeneratorsSteam generators are used to transform a shower or bathtub into a steam room. Sauna steam generators can be located virtually anywhere, such as in a closet, basement or attic, as long as they aren't more than about 25 feet away. They consist of a water reservoir which is heated by either electricity or natural gas, water piping to your shower or tub, digital temperature controls, and various shower and steam heads located in the shower. These units are generally installed by a licensed professional. Steam generators should not be confused with steam vaporizers, which are units for steam heaters used to deliver humidity in Finnish saunas. |
